McNamara welcomes clarification around garden centres

McNamara welcomes clarification around garden centres
April 8, 2020 by Dunphy Communications

Clare Independent Deputy Michael McNamara, T.D. has welcomed the Government’s inclusion of garden centres as essential retail outlets.

Having last week made an appeal in Dáil Éireann for Government to enable the opening of garden centres, Deputy McNamara said, “I am pleased to note that ‘outlets that provide….supplies and tools essential for gardening’ are deemed to be essential retail outlets under the new regulations signed into law by Minister Harris on Tuesday night.

“This clarification will come as a great relief to retailers and their customers in the county who contacted me during the past few weeks,” added Deputy McNamara.
